After a long winter the snow is rapidly melting and we’re excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Snow Mold Field Day at Marquette Golf Club in Marquette, MI on April 18th at 11:00 EST. I have been in contact with superintendent Craig Moore and they have been under a very deep snow cover since early November so the pressure should be through the roof, which would be consistent with past years (see attached picture from last year!). All the info you should need on the event can be found at our website (https://tdl.wisc.edu/snow-mold-field-days/), but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.
We won’t be holding field days at the other testing sites in Madison or Wausau but we will have the full reports with pictures posted on our website shortly after the field day.
*** Please note that Marquette, MI is just barely in the eastern time zone, so the 11:00 start time will actually be 10:00 CST. ***
Hope to see many of you there!
